Our Coaches
Chelsea Hindle
Regional Coach, Sr Star |
"I have been with Raft Mountain Skating Club for 12 years and have loved every minute of it. Growing up in the small town of Clearwater, I worked with many coaches. A few of those coaches who had skated for Disney made the biggest impact on my skating career. When I graduated in 2004 I knew I wanted to coach figure skating. RMSC gave me that opportunity.
I love watching these kids as they grow from PreCanskate levels, some as young as 3 and 4 years old, all the way up to high school graduation. These kids make the biggest impact on me, as though each one were like my own. We carry a bit of every emotion in different moments: silly, crazy, happy, and sad. Those emotions help to create programs that highlight each skater's talent." |
Yvie Gregory
Regional Coach, Jr Star |
Hello Raft Mountain families!
My name is Yvie, and this past spring I moved to Clearwater upon graduating from Thompson Rivers University. I have been skating since I was 3 years old, and am still actively skating and competing as an adult. I have passed my Gold level tests in FreeSkate, Dance, Skills, and Artistic. I have been coaching as a Regional Certified coach for 5 years now, and have coached with four different clubs as I moved around for school. I also taught Martial Arts for several years, so I have lots of experience teaching people of all ages! I skated and coached with Raft Mountain Skating Club for a couple months in the fall of 2021, and am looking forward to being back year round! |
