2025/2026 Season Fees:
|
Rentals:
The club rental program is being managed by Maveric at Well Gray Outfitters. Season rental is 100$ per skates and includes 2 skate sharpening. There is a limited supply and we do suggest that once the skater hits a certain age and level of skating that the skater should have their own skates. |

Private Lessons:
Private lessons may be required in order to build an individual skating program for competitions. They may also be recommended for concentrated coaching for show programs or individual skills. They are available from our head coach during the Freeskate timeslots. These lessons are arranged and billed directly with the coach. Other coaches may also offer privately arranged and billed lessons. Please contact the individual coach for more information. |
|
Payment Options:
Skaters must be paid in full by August 25th - Home-learning and KidSport skaters need to have the Skate Canada fee paid.
|
Financial Assistance:
KidsportBC provides funding to families whose children would otherwise be unable to participate in the sport. To find out more please see the Kidsport website. Please note: If the skater is planned to be registered for both sessions, please apply for Kidsport for the full year. |

Fundraising and Volunteering:
Many hands make the work lighter for each of us. We encourage you to consider how you can contribute and support this club for the benefit of all of our skaters. Fundraising is essential to our club to SUBSIDIZE fees. Without fundraising we would have to charge more to cover the costs of our programs. Our ongoing fundraising activity is donation of bottles at the SuperSave depot - please encourage family, friends and business contacts to donate their bottles to our club when they return bottles! We also rely on the Executive to manage the administration of the club in a cost-effective manner. 2025 will mark 50 years that this club has been helping children learn fun and valuable skills! Please consider making this year the year to get involved - we appreciate all parent support in any way you are able to contribute. Come out to a meeting or answer the call for volunteers for our skating shows - your support really makes a difference! We also understand that most families are working families and do not have enough time to volunteer, we have added a in lieu of volunteering option on the registration form of; $50 (pre-can, can-skate) $80 (novice, intermediate, advanced) But if you opt to volunteer and not pay, expect an email for a call to volunteering when show time comes around, or consider coming to meetings to hear what is the up and up in the club. |
